Okay, note to self... no more garage sales. That was a LOT of work!! And for what? For $165? Sheesh! I did get rid of some things though, so that was good.
I moved my computer desk over to my new "Lori" room, and set up a little area for rubber stamping (yaaay!). My workshop went pretty well on Saturday, and I'm actually going to sign up to be a Demonstrator this Friday! Woohoo!! My future upline is perfect too - very friendly, talented, and full of creative ideas. She was the perfect Demonstrator for my workshop, and I'm so excited that I'll soon be in her downline! I don't really intend to do the workshops and things (initially anyway) but she doesn't mind. I think I'd like to have some sort of stamp-a-stack or something fun for my friends, but nothing salesy. I think a few of my guests really enjoyed the workshop and might be interested in getting together for more stamping fun.
Anyway, I need to get to bed early tonight so I can wake up early so I can get to work on time and therefore leave on time because Mark's working late tomorrow. Make sense? *yawn*
G'night.

Garage Sale: Start the Countdown!
Two more days until the big garage sale! I still need to:
1. Put some things into the garage in the "stuff to sell" area
2. Label the remaining 90% of items that aren't yet labeled
3. Get cash for change
4. Put street name on signs
5. Stick reflectors-on-sticks where the sprinkler heads are located
6. Locate plastic grocery bags
7. Label Stuck On You brochures with web addy
ACK! So much to do!!!
I hope it doesn't rain Saturday.

Is it hoarding or OCD?
Okay, so I have this little problem... When I find something I really like, I want to buy TONS of it. Next on my list: rubber stamping supplies. I used to be into rubber stamping years ago - and loved it. Life got a little hectic and I let go of that hobby, but lately I've been really wanting to get back into it. So I have a workshop scheduled for the 26th, and I'm certain my order will be large enough to qualify for hostess benefits even if no one else shows up to the workshop! Here are the cute lollipop valentines I'd like to make for the boys' classmates:
Linda (my Stampin' Up Demonstrator) talked about possibly having a workshop where the moms could pay $10 or $12 and she would provide all the supplies to stamp out a pile of kids valentines... then the moms could take them home and the kids could color in the stamped images. What a great idea! If there are enough people interested I'll schedule something with her. If not, I might do these lollipop valentines and have the boys color them in. I'd like to add sparkles to the hearts and googly eyes on the bugs.
I also think this jellybean flower pot idea is adorable:

And here's a really sweet V-Day card from Laurie Schmidlin's blog:

And everyone needs an "Embrace Life" card, right?
Yes, my wish list is very long. In fact, I'm clearing out an entire room and having a yard sale this Saturday to make room for my new stamping spot! I'm hoping to go from zero to this in just a few months time. YIKES! Okay, maybe not THAT much stuff... but I want to set up a little work surface and organize my supplies in some way. This is going to be so much FUN!!!

Something from Nothing
Today I stumbled onto this video clip. Even if it's not your type of music, it's worth listening to the first minute or so.
